The sports annals are full of great rematches ... Ali-Frazier III, Tyson-Holyfield II, Yankees-Red Sox ALCS 2004, Team Canada-Team Philly, to name a few. The fact is that vanquished fighters always want a shot at redemption. Having trained in a smelly gym for the last 11 months, Team Palumberi is ready to step back into the ring for a shot at redemption against Team Reardon in Final Fore VIII - The Battle by the Beach. Many recall Final Fore 2004 as the closest in tournament history, going down to final round when Team Reardon caught Team Palumberi with a right hook in Monday afternoon's 2-man Scramble. "Down goes Palumberi ... down goes Palumberi" was the call from the announcers. Team Reardon was crowned champion 27.5-26.5 and gladly accepted the rematch ... "anytime, anywhere, any day." Each team has lost one competitor, but their replacements are familiar names to us all - Greg "The Italian Stallion" DeRosa is coming out of retirement as a Middleweight, while Chris "The Big White Hope" Shust will step into the squared circle for Team Palumberi in the Super Heavyweight division.
